Rhodes 73 Mark 1 (03/1979). This is an original Rhodes, made in Fullerton California in the 9th week of 1979. It's one of the last Mark 1 series made.
Fender switched to the Mark 2 shortly after. I have owned the instrument since 1981 and bought it in Hamburg, Germany. The first owner was Günther Platzek, big band leader with the German James Last Orchestra. The Rhodes is in great condition and in perfect tune. The "metallic" sound at one point of the video is from an acoustic guitar that was placed in the same room at the time of recording (resonance frequency). The unit was recorded with a Tube preamp directly into a Behringer console. Sound from room PA speakers. The asking price is firm. Height 34 inch (87 cm).Length 46 inch (117 cm).
